Dr Julia Sen

Dr Julia Sen: Julia is renowned across the region as a leading Consultant Ophthalmic Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic surgeon. In addition to her work in the NHS, she practices privately at Spire South Bank Hospital, Worcester and is the Director of the Dr Julia Sen Health & Wellness Clinic, Worcester.


As an aesthetician, she leads the way in offering a range of safe, results-led treatments and is a faculty member of the Aesthetic Complications Expert Group, an international body advocating for improved safety in the industry.


During her nearly three decades working in health and medicine, she has developed a particular interest in issues affecting women as they age, especially menopause, skincare and nutrition.

Dr Sajjad Rajpar

Dr Sajjad Rajpar: Saj is a highly skilled Consultant Dermatologist and is Medical Director of Midland Skin, based in Edgbaston Medical Village, Birmingham. Previously a Consultant at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he was the head of skin surgery and Mohs surgery, he has been practising at Midland Skin for more than ten years.


His clinical areas of expertise include acne, rosacea, skin cancer treatment, laser resurfacing, skin concerns with menopause, injectable fillers and aesthetics including the state-of-the-art Halo procedure. He believes in simple yet highly optimised skincare routines, and has designed and formulated a skincare serum. He is also a regular expert on Balance, the website and app dedicated to raising awareness about menopause and perimenopause.

 
Dr Vicky Hobbs

Dr Vicky Hobbs: As a practicing GP and women’s health specialist, Vicky has worked in the field of women’s health for more than 20 years and has a particular interest in menopause care and period problems.


She has specialist qualifications in both menopause care and community gynaecology, fitting coils and implants.


She co-runs a private women’s health clinic at BHI Bromsgrove with Dr Heidi Kerr, called VHK Women’s Health Clinic, offering women specialist support in all aspects of women’s issues, including perimenopause and menopausal health. She will be sharing her expertise on mastering the menopause at out event next month.

 
Leila Holmes

Leila Holmes: With a BSc Physiotherapy from Manchester University and an MSC in Physiotherapy in Women's Health from Bradford University, Leila has been a Chartered Physiotherapist for more than18 years. Her specialisms include Musculoskeletal and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. Leila runs her clinic Physioadvantage in Alvechurch, with a focus on women's health conditions including problems with the pelvic floor.


For our Wise Women event, Leila will be discussing the pelvic floor, the roles it plays in maintaining our intimate health and problems that can occur, especially during the perimenopause. She will also be sharing her tips and considerations for exercise during the perimenopause.
